随着时间一周一周，一月一月地过去，对于被占东部地区的民众来说，一个当地的 基本事实变得越来越明显：没有任何法律、没有任何章程、没有任何措施可以保护犹太人，连儿童也明白这一点。10月21日，一个名叫格奥尔格・马森纳斯的波上演。
波兰在校男生写信给平斯克的地区行政代表：“我现在13岁了，很想帮助我的妈妈，因为她目前面临困难，很难挣钱养家。我因上学无法打工，但是我可以通过参维加城市乐队挣点钱，因为城市乐队是在晚间演出。憾的是，我没有手风，管维亚我会演奏。我认识一位有手风琴的犹太人，所以我恳求你允许将这部手风琴没

正如希特勒的讲话内容所表达的那样，希特勒个人对绝大多数德国人的掌控都来源于三个不同的前历史主义救赎纲领：最大限度的种族群体纯洁性、最大限度粉碎布尔什维主义和富豪统治，以及最终的千年救赎（众所周知都是从基督教借用过来的主题）。在这些纲领的每一条中，犹太人在本质上代表着恶。从这一意义上讲，由于希特勒在这三条战线上与同一个敌人（犹太人）进行战斗，他自然就成了受命于天的领袖。
卡斯基的评论有着非同寻常的预见性：“尽管国民在道德上极为憎恶他们（德国人），但是这个问题（犹太人的问题）正在架设一座狭窄的沟通桥梁，德国人和很大一部分波兰人正借此达成共识。当前的形势正在造成波兰人内部的分裂，一部分人鄙视和憎恨德国人的野蛮行径…另一部分人则以猎奇、时常欣喜之情看待这些措施（以及德国人！），并谴责前一部分人‘对一个如此重要的问题无动于衷’。”
犹太人的命运是一回事，荷兰人的命运则是另外一回事，这甚至是当时犹太委员会领导人的共识。
1943年1月，利奥·拜克和其他德国协会领导人被驱逐到特莱西恩施塔特。6月，德国协会实际上已不复存在。犹太人在德国的千年历史走向了终结。
